Peer-To-Peer
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, eight-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. It is a designated evidenced-based program. This means that research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition.
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is taught by NAMI-trained peers who have been there, and includes presentations, discussions and interactive exercises. Classes meet on Wednesday.
If you are looking for one-on-one support, please reach out to our Peer Support team to schedule an appointment by contacting outreach@namidanecounty.org. You can learn more about Peer Support by clicking here.
