Peer & Parent Peer Support

Our Certified Peer Support Specialist offers a compassionate and non-judgmental space to connect with people who share similar lived experiences. This is not a replacement for therapy, but a powerful complement to your wellness journey, focused on mutual empowerment, respect, and understanding.

Who are certified peer specialists?

A Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) offers peer support to people receiving services related to mental health and/or substance use challenges. A CPS brings valuable expertise and skills and uses them to connect with the peers they serve.

A CPS is a person who has their own lived experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges and has completed formal training and certification. They use their unique lived experience and recovery, combined with comprehensive skills training, including continuing education, to support people with similar lived experience.
